Steady, whatever comes.

Through divorce, dating, life transitions, and the situations that are hard to take to anyone else.

Josh Chandler

You've handled everything. Except this.

On the surface, everything looks fine. You're keeping up. Underneath, though, you're treading water on something — and you know it needs to be addressed. Maybe it's your marriage, or the person you're seeing. Your kids. The people you lead. Your health. Or the quiet hours when no one's watching.

Maybe you've sensed that therapy, for all its value, isn't quite built for what you're carrying. Or there's a decision in front of you, or a situation you're in, that you can't take to anyone — not your spouse, not your closest friend, not the board, not HR. If any of this lands, you're not in trouble. You just need someone in your corner who has been here before, and knows what the moment calls for.

Questions Underneath

The thoughts you don't say out loud —

  • Who am I, underneath everything I've built?
  • The spark with my partner is gone, and I can't say when it left.
  • What I want from relationships doesn't fit the script — and I can't say that out loud.
  • Something's happening that I have to handle alone — and no one can know.
  • I did something I can't take back, and it could cost me everything.
  • If this falls apart, what happens to my kids — what happens to me?
  • I can't connect with the people I actually want, and I don't know what's missing.
  • I have everything I was supposed to want. Why doesn't it land?

— you're not the only one.

How I work

The work isn't tactics. It's you.

There's no shortage of people promising a shortcut — the course that makes someone love you again, the technique that puts you in control of any room. Control is the wrong goal, and underneath, you already know it. What changes things isn't a tactic. It's clarity, and a steady person beside you who has been in the room for this before — many times. Not therapy. Not life hacks. A clear head, an honest read on what's actually happening, and the next right move — whatever you're facing.

Right now

We start with what's in front of you: the decision, the divorce, the dating difficulty, the situation you can't take to anyone. Clear eyes on it, and the next right move(s).

What lasts

Then the deeper work: becoming steady enough in yourself so that this season, and the ones that follow, are positive ones. That's the part that stays.

Who this is for

Many of the people I work with are capable and accomplished — used to being the one everyone else leans on, but sometimes just need a pinch hit of advice. Some are deep in a divorce, or about to be, and need a roadmap. Some are standing at a crossroads in their work — a career they've outgrown, an exit they can't quite call, a reinvention they haven't said out loud. Some are starting over and dating again. Some are in the middle of a private crisis they can't talk about anywhere else. And some look fine from the outside but can't figure out why it doesn't feel like enough. Whatever stage you're in, you don't need it figured out before we start.

Portrait of Josh

Why me

For over twenty years, my work put me beside people on the most difficult days of their lives: as a police officer, in executive protection for high-profile families, and running an investigations firm working with private clients and their attorneys — more than a thousand cases in all. Contentious divorces, custody battles, infidelity, addiction, missing persons, sometimes whole families in crisis. I spent two decades being useful when it counted, executing when it was needed, and keeping what I was told to myself. That was the job. It still is.
